MTV Movie Awards Bad-Ass Cops Part 2?!?! What is Taylor Lautner Filming in NYC...


Earlier this week Taylor was spotted on set filming in New York...

Not a great shot but you can juuuust make him out :)


As you can see from the filming notice, the project name is "Movie Awards" which leads me to believe this is for the pending 2011 MTV Movie Awards on June 5th.

Last year, I nearly died laughing when Taylor and Rob surprised us all with the hilarious "Bad Ass Cops" - I am sooooooo hoping for a follow up!

However, judging from the set (plus the distinct lack of Rob) a play on Taylor's up-coming movie Abduction is more likely... which would you prefer?

Complexions...Dwight Rhoden announces New York Premiere! Ballet Spring Season!

Famed choreographer - Dwight  Rhoden - announced today that he was thrilled to be returning to the Joyce Theatre for the 1st spring season!

The special dance presenatations include a New York gala premiere and reperatory favorites to round out the program.

Over the past few years, the celebrated Complexions Contemporary Ballet dance troupe - headed up by Mr. Rhoden (artistic director) - has dazzled fans the world-over including those situated in - not only the continenal U.S. - but also Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Italy, and Hawaii.

Complexions dance performance known as "Rise"

Eric Clapton...Guitars & Amps auctioned for charity! Art of Rock & Roll! March 9th!









On Thursday March 9th, music buffs and collectors alike, will be able to bid on a rare collection of personal effects belonging to legendary musician Eric Clapton.

The auction titled - "The Art of Rock & Roll" - will benefit a Crossroads Centre charity.

An Clapton Signature Model 2008 Fender Stratocaster is expected to fetch a whopping sum (upwards of $25,000 to $30,000).

Included in the sale are one-of-a-kind artworks such as a large-scale album cover by celebrated artist - Alton Kelley - sure to rustle up big bucks with astute collectors (appraisers say the gavel may drop at $35,000 smackeroos!).

Illustrated catalogues may be snapped up for a mere $35.00, however!

Art Work stars @ Claption Auction

Women Photographers...on exhibit @ Macy's! Women's History Month!




 







Macy's at Herald Square in New  York is celebrating Women's History Month with an exhibition of eclectic photographs by female photographers!

In tandem with the wall framed perspectives, the top retailer will also stream special features via satellite, that examine women and their achievements around the globe.

The dazzling display will feature works by emerging artists, as well as established lensers, juried by Karen Marshall.

Marshall is a freelance photographer who rose to prominence in cultural circles by documenting American social issues over the past few years.

Although the much-ballyhooed exhibition kicks off on March 2nd on the 8th floor gallery at Herald Square, the following evening there will also be a tony reception where fans may mix-and-mingle with the artists.
