I know perfectly well who Bach is (and, in fact, who Bach were) and comparing him with the Beatles is musical stupidity at his best.
If my dad happened to have met John Lennon in Liverpool, he could have been in the Beatles too. Overhyped experimental infants who gave the world a little over five decent songs.

Personally I'll be disappointed to see iPhone cameras going much above 5 MP. Image quality and creative options are limited by other factors in a device this small, so what's the point in wasting additional storage space for all the extra pixels? If I want to take serious photos I'll use my Canon SLR.

I think Mac sales are directly tied to the Halo affect of the iOS devices. The more they sell there, the more people open up to Mac as an alternative. With Lion having more iOS like interfaces, it will make it even more natural for new customers.
I agree the Halo effect is a huge influence. Someone who's never owned an Apple computer buys an iPhone, finds out how well it integrates with a MBP, and a computer is sold. It's as simple as that.

My mom got her iphone last year. She loves it so much she's been totally into apple stuff (bought herself an ipod touch when it came out - don't ask me when she already has an iphone - and even bought me the new nano).
She says she's probably going to buy a Mac next time (and she used to snub the mac when I was a kid).I beleive this is how it started for a lot of current apple customers. For me it started with the iPhone in 2007. After that I have been hooked; iMacs, MBP's, iPhones, iPods, and iPads. I've even got my family buying all apple products. They see what great expierience I'm having and they want in. All it takes is one good expeirience. Then starts a chain reaction, then starts growth.

Anyone knows if the mac pro allows us to upgrade to PCI graphics cards bought from retail stores? Will there be any driver issues? Do graphics card vendors include Mac drivers on their installation disc? Never seen one that does though..

Time for Apple to learn what a patch is. Best example of patching desperately being needed is Xcode which requires the whole 4.25gb app to be downloaded every single time they update. They could change 1 line of code and you need to download 4.25gb. That's just bad design.

So users on the subscription model get updated to the next version as part of their subscription? So if I purchase a subscription for a year of 5.5. and CS6 comes out in june, then for no extra cost I'm able to upgrade to CS6?
Unless I've missed something, which is entirely possible, the subscription model seems to be based around temporary folks or how often the packs will be upgraded.
I mean I have 3 macs with design premium CS4. Upgrading the 5.5 would cost $1,947 out right. But if I subscribe for $95/month * 3 macs, then that's $3,420 after one year.
However if I go the non-subscription route, and CS6 comes out in less than a year from the time I would have subscribed, it's the same $649/upgrade cost, and I purchase it....then subscribing would have been cheaper by about $470. But that seems like a lot of assumptions.

As already been posted, if you fall in the right # but says it won't be accepted... WAIT!!!! Apple has already sayed that its website is bogged down...so WAIT a day or two. Secondly, for those of you that are changing your "A" to "B" or "C", did you ever think that you might be taking someone elses valid serial # and are taking their battery away from them??? Just wait, not everyone has to put in their replacement request w/in 5 hours of it coming out... just chil out a day or two... seriously it's not gona go blow up on in you if u wait an extra 48 hours.

This mythical creature is Rangda. Rangda is the demon queen of the leyaks in Bali, according to traditional Balinese mythology. The leyak is a mythological figure in the form of flying head with entrails (heart, lung, liver, etc.) still attached. Completed the game on Heroic with a couple of friends...the last few missions were very good...will try to do it on Legendary over the next few weeks...
I'm growing more and more disenchanted with Multi-player though...I'd rather pop in Halo 3...the game variants and maps are much more enticing...

jeez, 8 whole mega pixels??? Wow fruit, welcome to you sure are being generous here. My android phone has 8mp and it came a full year ago... The pictures it takes are pretty sweet compared to my friends i(paidtomuch)phone4. I'm not trying to bash anyone but I see a lot of fruit boys on here saying they are OK with whatever fruity says. Ya'll really need to revolt or something because that's not right. I guess once the specs are finalized, we will see a 10+ mega pixel camera on either android or windows phone? I have no idea..

Apple always said they are about Software and Hardware, well then it wouldn't make sense for them to omit hardware from the conference.
So i'm predicting...
A completely revamped iOS, named iOS 5
Mac OS X Lion, the best OS yet.
A completely revamped MobileMe, a lot of free features but more space requires cheaper annual payments.
Additional cloud-like services nobody thought of.
Why does this sound like everything that might be shown? Or am i missing something?

Time Machine seems more like the Shadow Copies on Server only on a local level rather than a network drive. (example attached)
I'm assuming they will use a form of Single Instance Storage with TM, so you have one copy of the file and only the deltas from any changes to reduce space requirements.
I think the actual automated backing up of stuff has been aound for years. Its the way Apple does it that makes it great. I mean cmon. Look at the screen shot you posted and then time machine! :D
