I just finished reading a book about the last few months in the life of Vincent Van Gogh. Many European artists and writers of the day drinking or were addicted to Absinthe. Absinthe spirit consists of many different herbs including wormwood. In 1800 he was very strong and was told that a psychotropic substances. Absinthe was also called “the green fairy”.
